Watch: Sens. Menendez and Booker Discuss Obamacare, Other Key Issues

Newark, NJ, December 11, 2014 ― Steve Adubato’s one-hour interview with US Senators Robert Menendez and Cory Booker aired Wednesday on PBS and via streaming at NJ.com.

On the topic of the Affordable Care Act, while supportive of the overall act, Sen. Booker acknowledged (at 36:50) there was room for change.

“One [change] that is very important for the state of New Jersey…is the medical device tax,” Senator Booker said.  “One of the ways some of the aspects of [ACA] are being paid for…are to tax medical devices, and, for me, that is inhibiting a lot of New Jersey businesses and affecting a lot of New Jersey jobs.”

The program was taped on December 5 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and produced by the Caucus Educational Corporation.
