The New Jersey Life Sciences Vendors Alliance (NJLSVA) is a coalition of businesses, individuals and academia who provide goods and services to New Jersey’s life sciences companies.

The NJLSVA was founded to educate suppliers on trends in industry procurement and public policy that affects the life sciences industry.


Rutgers–Camden Named Purple Heart University; First Higher Education Institution in NJ to Earn the Distinction

Rutgers CamdenCamden, NJ, September 1, 2016 — Tom McLaughlin reports that, further strengthening its reputation as a national leader in student veteran support services, Rutgers University–Camden has been named a Purple Heart University by the Military Order of the Purple Heart.

This is the first higher education institution in the state of New Jersey to earn the distinction.

Christie Administration Announces $5.5 Million to Improve Health Care for Veterans

Department of Health NJTrenton, NJ, December 19, 2015 ― The New Jersey Department of Health yesterday announced $5.5 million in grants to implement programs and innovations that will improve health care for veterans and their families throughout the state.

Studies show veterans experience a host of service-related and other health issues following their time in the military. One in five homeless Americans are veterans, and nearly 60 percent of homeless vets are minorities. Continue reading

Seats Added to Help New Jersey’s Veterans Find New Careers at Inaugural Veteran and Transitioning Military Re-Careering Seminar

Somerville, NJ, April 17, 2014 — On April 29, the MedTech and BioTech Veterans Program (www.mvpvets.com ) will host its inaugural re-careering event for transitioning military and veterans in New Jersey. 

Military personnel in transition from service and honorably discharged veterans are invited to apply for the opportunity to participate in this free one day seminar that will include active one-on-one mentoring, industry specific training, eLearning enrollment, and personal engagement with hiring managers seeking to employ program participants. 

Enrollment has been increased to 30 participants in order to help veterans in New Jersey and the surrounding area find new careers in areas such fields as project management, supply chain, quality control, human resources, and many others. Continue reading
