The NJLSVA was founded to educate suppliers on trends in industry procurement and public policy that affects the life sciences industry.

Trenton, NJ, June 13, 2017 — Dr. George A. Pruitt will retire as president of Thomas Edison State University at the end of this year, after more than three decades of leading New Jersey’s only institution of higher education dedicated exclusively for adults.

“Serving as president of this wonderful university has been the single, greatest privilege of my professional life,” said Pruitt.  “I have no words to express my appreciation to the trustees, past and present, as well as my colleagues who have joined in the work of transforming the lives of the students we serve.” Continue reading

NJ Redevelopment Authority Teams Up with Thomas Edison State University for Staff Development

Trenton, NJ, March 22, 2017 — Eric Strauss reports in NJBIZ that the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority (NJRA) is hoping to boost its effectiveness through staff development, partnering with Thomas Edison State University to help employees complete college degree programs, the two announced Tuesday.

Thomas Edison and the NJRA said in a news release that a recent survey found that 61 percent of employers offer undergraduate tuition assistance, while 59 percent offer graduate tuition assistance. Continue reading
