The NJLSVA was founded to educate suppliers on trends in industry procurement and public policy that affects the life sciences industry.


Rutgers-Camden and Rowan Research Collaborate to Accelerate Fight Against Diabetes

Rutgers-Camden and Rowan UCamden, NJ, January 22, 2016 ― Researchers from Rutgers University–Camden and Rowan University are collaborating on an interdisciplinary project to accelerate the fight against diabetes and use untapped resources to improve treatment and perhaps even cure the disease.

The joint Rowan University/Rutgers–Camden Board of Governors approved a $30,000 research grant for the project.

Rutgers–Camden Adds Bachelor in Health Sciences Degree Program

Camden, NJ, June 30, 2014 — The New Jersey Council of Presidents has approved a bachelor of arts in health sciences degree program for the Rutgers University–Camden College of Arts and Sciences. Courses will begin in the fall.

The new 120-credit multi-disciplinary academic major will include courses in the general sciences while also educating students in subjects essential to modern health-related professions, such as behavioral therapy, biomedical ethics, health psychology, health advocacy, and human development.

The Rutgers University Board of Governors approved the new major in March.   Continue reading
