The New Jersey Life Sciences Vendors Alliance (NJLSVA) is a coalition of businesses, individuals and academia who provide goods and services to New Jersey’s life sciences companies.

The NJLSVA was founded to educate suppliers on trends in industry procurement and public policy that affects the life sciences industry.


Three Rowan University Diversity Programs Awarded National Science Foundation Grants

Washington, DC, July 29, 2017 — Three programs at Rowan University with goals to promote diversity and equality for underrepresented races and sexualities on and off campus recently have been awarded grants by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to aid those efforts.

The grants will be available to most of the projects for five years and all programs have already started the implementation process.

Under the largest grant ever awarded to a Rowan professor by the National Science Foundation — $1.92 million — Dr. Beena Sukumaran will head a team conducting research and implementing strategies to improve diversity in the high-demand field of engineering, according to a university news release. Five Life Sciences Companies with NJ Connections Named to ‘Top 50 Companies for Diversity’ 2015 List

Somerset, NJ, April 27, 2015 NJBIZ has reported that DiversityInc announced the results of its annual Top 50 Companies for Diversity, and eight New Jersey companies made the Top 50.

Five life sciences companies — all members of the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ), which is the voice of New Jersey’s life sciences community — were included on the 2015 list, including Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, which ranked No. 1 for the second consecutive year.  Continue reading
