The NJLSVA was founded to educate suppliers on trends in industry procurement and public policy that affects the life sciences industry.

Bayer Brings Science Learning to Schools Through Making Science Make Sense Program

The pharmaceutical firm demonstrates this commitment with its national, presidential award-winning Making Science Make Sense (MSMS) program, a company-wide initiative which advances science literacy across the United States through hands-on, inquiry-based science learning, employee volunteerism and public education.

MSMS was formalized in 1995; however, the spirit of the program dates back to nearly 50 years ago, when Bayer volunteers began helping teachers teach and students learn science the way scientists do — by doing it.   Continue reading

Bayer HealthCare Opens New HQ in Hanover; Governor Speaks on Making State a Better Business Environment

Hanover, NJ, October 16, 2013 — This morning, Bayer HealthCare will be joined by Governor Chris Christie and Marijn Dekkers, CEO of Bayer AG, the Germany-based parent company of Bayer HealthCare, at a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open its new East Coast headquarters in the Whippany section of Hanover.
