The NJLSVA was founded to educate suppliers on trends in industry procurement and public policy that affects the life sciences industry.

NJ Entrepreneurial Network to Host NJ Secretary of Higher Education Rochelle Hendricks on February 12

Princeton, NJ, January 23, 2014 ― The New Jersey Entrepreneurial Network (NJEN) will host New Jersey Secretary of Higher Education Rochelle Hendricks at an event that will be held Wednesday, February 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Princeton University’s Friend Center Convocation Room at Olden and William Streets in Princeton, NJ.

Every year, NJEN provides the entrepreneurial community with an evening of posters, networking and information at Princeton University.  Those providing posters can introduce their businesses to important contacts among academics, small and large businesses, potential funding sources and professional services providers.

The evening event’s keynote speaker will be the Honorable Rochelle Hendricks, who serves as New Jersey’s first Secretary of Higher Education.  In this role, Ms. Hendricks heads New Jersey’s Council on Innovation and serves with the New Jersey Partnership for Action.  Ms. Hendricks plays a leading role in helping New Jersey businesses succeed, fostering collaboration between business and academia and attracting new businesses to New Jersey.

The cost of the event is $30 per person if pre-registered by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 7, or $40 at the door.  To register, visit www.njen.com.

Since space is limited, those interested in submitting a poster or demo should register early and submit a poster request form with presenters’ names, company/organization, poster titles and a brief abstract (100 words or less) via email as soon as possible, but not later than January 24th, 2014.

Poster specifications: Posters can be up to 30″ x 40″ and must be on foam core.  If selected, posters must be available by 4:30 p.m. on February 12, 2014.  Easels will be provided.
