The NJLSVA was founded to educate suppliers on trends in industry procurement and public policy that affects the life sciences industry.

Five Life Sciences Companies with NJ Connections Named to ‘Top 50 Companies for Diversity’ 2015 List

Somerset, NJ, April 27, 2015 NJBIZ has reported that DiversityInc announced the results of its annual Top 50 Companies for Diversity, and eight New Jersey companies made the Top 50.

Five life sciences companies — all members of the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ), which is the voice of New Jersey’s life sciences community — were included on the 2015 list, including Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, which ranked No. 1 for the second consecutive year. 

Novartis also earned a “special award” as the Top Company for Diversity-Management Progress.

The other companies with a New Jersey connection that joined Novartis on the list were Johnson & Johnson (No. 9), Abbott (No. 14), Merck & Co. (No. 16) and Eli Lilly and Company (No. 24).

Merck ranked No. 1 on the Top 10 Companies for Employee Resource Groups, and Novartis was No. 7 on the same list.

Novartis also ranked No. 2 on the Top 10 Companies for Recruitment, and Johnson & Johnson came in in at No. 9.
