The New Jersey Life Sciences Vendors Alliance (NJLSVA) is a coalition of businesses, individuals and academia who provide goods and services to New Jersey’s life sciences companies.

The NJLSVA was founded to educate suppliers on trends in industry procurement and public policy that affects the life sciences industry.

Event: Somerset County Business Partnership and HINJ to Present ‘Achieve a Healthier, More Productive Workforce’ Event on November 9

Workforce Healthy 2Bridgewater, NJ, October 7, 2016 — The Somerset County Business Partnership — in partnership with the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ) and Healthier Somerset — will host “Achieve a Healthier, More Productive Workforce: The Value of Medication Adherence” breakfast event.

The event will be held on Wednesday, November 9 from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the New Jersey Center of Excellence Bridgewater at 1041 U.S. Highway 202-206, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.

The breakfast event will feature a presentation by The Asheville Project creator John Miall, Jr.  The Asheville Project focuses on eliminating barriers to care, providing employees with the resources to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and engaging local pharmacists as partners in care. 

This model, now used by industry and in more than 100 municipalities around the United States, has proven to reduce overall health care costs and increase workforce productivity by reducing employee absenteeism.
