The New Jersey Life Sciences Vendors Alliance (NJLSVA) is a coalition of businesses, individuals and academia who provide goods and services to New Jersey’s life sciences companies.

The NJLSVA was founded to educate suppliers on trends in industry procurement and public policy that affects the life sciences industry.

R&D Council of NJ Names 2017 Edison Patent and Special Recognition Honorees; Event Set for Nov. 2

Chatham, NJ, September 28, 2017 ― The Research & Development Council of New Jersey will present its 2017 Annual Edison Patent Awards on November 2 at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, NJ.

Event: NJBIA to Host 2nd Annual Innovation Summit on September 27; Focus on ‘Reimagining Your Company to Drive Innovation’

Event: HINJ and Rutgers Biomedical Engineering Medical Device Development Center Kick Off Forum Series with ‘Innovations in 3-D Printing’ on September 19

Piscataway, NJ, September 18, 2017 — Please join the Rutgers Biomedical Engineering Medical Device Development Center and the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ) for “Innovations in 3-D Printing: The Latest Technology in Industry” on Tuesday, September 19 at Rutgers’ Busch Campus in Piscataway, NJ.

Vendors Event: HINJ and Somerset County Business Partnership to Host 2017 Life Sciences Vendors Procurement Conference on November 2

New Brunswick, NJ, September 1, 2017 — The HealthCare Institute of New Jersey’s (HINJ) annual Life Sciences Vendors Procurement Conference is scheduled for Thursday, November 2 from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Raritan Valley Community College, Route 28 and Lamington Road, North Branch, NJ.

The event — entitled “How to Do Business with Pharma and Medical Technology Companies” — will be co-sponsored by the Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP) with support from Eli Lilly and Company and Allergan.

New Jersey Celebrates National Health Center Week 2017 August 13-19

Trenton, NJ, August 12, 2017 — The New Jersey Department of Health will celebrate National Health Center Week 2017, which is August 13 to 14, by showcasing the comprehensive health care that is provided at more than 100 Federally Qualified Health Centers across the state with about 70 events.

Events will include free medical and dental screenings, information sessions about cancer prevention, improving birth outcomes, diabetes, nutrition and fitness, as well as back-to-school giveaways, food and entertainment for families.

Health Commissioner Cathleen D. Bennett will speak at the kickoff event on Monday, August 14 at the Metropolitan Family Health Network in Jersey City from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Continue reading

BIO International Convention 2017 Closes After Four ‘Breakthrough’ Days in San Diego; BIO 2018 Set for Boston

Washington, DC, June 23, 2017 — The 2017 BIO International Convention (BIO 2017), hosted by the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), closed yesterday after four days of immersive, compelling programming united under the theme of “Breakthrough.”

BIO 2017 drew 16,123 biotechnology industry leaders from 48 States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and 73 countries to San Diego, the “genomics capital” of the world.
