The New Jersey Life Sciences Vendors Alliance (NJLSVA) is a coalition of businesses, individuals and academia who provide goods and services to New Jersey’s life sciences companies.

The NJLSVA was founded to educate suppliers on trends in industry procurement and public policy that affects the life sciences industry.

Applications Now Being Accepted for 2014 Governor’s STEM Scholars Program

Chatham, NJ, April 23, 2014 — The Governor’s STEM Scholars program is now accepting applications for 2014.This program is a public-private initiative of the Research & Development Council of New Jersey, the Governor’s Office, the New Jersey Department of Education, and the Secretary of Higher Education.

The program provides the students — from tenth grade through Ph.D. — with a unique and comprehensive introduction to sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in the state.  

The students will learn about STEM through a series of conferences that take place around the New Jersey, along with field trips to research labs and Q&As with STEM professionals.  

The scholars will not only get to interact with their professional counterparts, but they will also be exposed to labs demonstrating things like 3D printing, nanotechnology and more.  

Program sponsors are Celgene, Novartis, Roche and South Jersey Industries.
